Installing the ownCloud client on your Mac is as easy as ABC:

  1. Download the installation file
  2. Click ownCloud-1.4.2.dmg, a window with the ownCloud icon opens
  3. In that window, drag the ownCloud application into the ‘Applications’ folder on the right hand side
  4. From ‘Applications’, choose ownCloud

The ownCloud client is provided as in a convenient repository for a wide range of popular Linux distributions. If you want to build the sources instead, use this csync source and the mirall sources.

Note: The links below point to the openSUSE build Service, a 3rd party website which is used to provide this service. It will also provide you with further installation instructions for the Linux Distributions listed above.

The ownCloud client software is based on Mirall and CSync, which are Free Software. The sources can be downloaded here: Linux, MacOSX and Windows are built with these sources. Read the Build Howto for build instructions.
